Anywhere from 4–8 minutes, and custom-tailored shows can be created based on your team’s needs. Past NBA halftime shows have run 5:17 (Oklahoma City Thunder, Dec. 31, 2013) and 6:52 (San Antonio Spurs, 2012 Western Conference Finals). Share your halftime length and preferred segment length when you book. For corporate banquets, JP can perform anywhere from a 15-minute to a 1-hour show.
Setup takes 1 minute with proper personnel, and strike takes 30 seconds or less. The show can use only the center court area or more of the court between the free-throw lines, depending on your lighting and spotlight capabilities. Send your halftime timeline with your request, and the show will be fit to it.
JP performs with stage assistant Elaine. From the arena, 3–5 staff are preferred to help carry props on and off the court. Lighting: lights out with spotlights is preferred, but the show can also be performed with all lights up. Audio: one music track, emailed in advance. Rehearsal: not needed; a lighting test can be done if the arena prefers. Load-in: a loading dock is preferred, as a fully loaded Ford Transit van needs to be unloaded and the props moved to a staging area. Insurance: JP carries liability insurance, and a certificate of insurance (COI) is provided on request.

Anywhere in the country. JP travels nationwide for NBA teams, college athletic departments, and corporate events, and has performed from Los Angeles to Miami and as far away as Nairobi, Kenya. A prop travel fee applies, with better rates when multiple shows can be booked in the same region of the country. Share your city and venue when you inquire, and John Leach will provide all travel details.
